VOLUNTEER

Dedicated volunteers have been the cornerstone of CLERC, offering invaluable skills, time, energy, insight and knowledge. It is thanks to the efforts of a small group of dedicated volunteers that CLERC was established as a society under the Societies Act of Alberta in September 2002. Since that time, the Society has grown and there are more opportunities to get involved than ever. Here are the ways to get involved:

BOARD MEMBER

The Board of Directors concerns itself with the governance of the organization and support of its programs. CLERC Board members are elected to sit for a two-year term and can sit for a maximum of four consecutive terms. Meetings are held one evening a month at CLERC. In addition to the Board, volunteers participate in CLERC committees and other volunteer activities.

COMMITTEE MEMBER

Volunteers participate in various committees including: Fund Development, Youth Advisory and Communications and Legal Advisory.
